After 20 plus years of building custom conference tables, we have worked with many designers.Part of our service is to provide a plan view line drawing showing the conference table with all the bases and dimensions from the center points of the bases to your existing walls. (This information can be passed on to your contractor or electrician if floor coring is needed for the power and data in your conference table.)

We take photos of your conference table order in progress and also of the product crated and email them to you when finished.

Upon approval of your conference table quotation, we overnight samples of your conference table finishes

Franz Design Group has been specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom conference tables for over 20 years. Under the GSA Contract, Franz Design group has put together a number of products that are actual components of a conference table so that any of the government agencies or divisions can pick and choose under the contract to create and satisfy their needs.
Every conference table that has been produced has been different. Some of the custom conference tables have had power and data included. Some have logos that reflect the particular division. Our experience tells us the government divisions are very proud of "their" division and a conference table that speaks of that is a winner.

THE CLIENT SENT US SOME PHOTOS OF THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT AND WE CAME UP WITH THIS CUSTOM CONFERENCE TABLE. THE TABLE WHICH WAS VERY VISIBLE WAS TIED TOGETHER WITH ALL THE COLORS OF AREA. IT WAS NOT ONLY FUN TO DESIGN THE TABLE BUT IT OPENED THE DOOR TO DO MANY OTHER ITEMS FOR THEM ONCE THEY SAW OUR CAPABILITIES. HAVING THE AVAILABILITY OF AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF MATERIALS AND HAVING THE KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH THEM ALLOWS US MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK WITH CLIENTS.

Early on, the company sought out innovative, new materials. For example, several of the veneers offered for Franz Conference Tables are made of engineered wood from Africa and Italy. These engineered woods come from trees grown and harvested specifically for making beautiful, durable veneers.

"We were told that the materials were meant only for vertical use," comments Bob Franz. "We worked and worked with these veneers to get them to adhere horizontally to our table surface. Today, based on our experience, the supplier sells them for horizontal use."

With these veneers, Franz Conference Tables not only look sleek and rich, they also hold up to hard use and UV rays.

Franz Design Group was one of the first companies to apply ergonomic principals to the design process. The result of these efforts is the Franz Styledge, which is built with a 22-degree angle that makes working and sitting at a Franz Conference Table comfortable. These table edges also hold up to wear and tear, an important feature for office furniture, which needs to last.

Technology plays a key role at the company in design and marketing and sales. Tables are designed with CAD applications and manufactured using sophisticated tools guided by computers. But Franz Design Group never lets technology trump craftsmanship. "We get custom designs so complex that they require hand cutting and crafting," explains Bob Franz.
